The emote overlay makes the emotes that are sent in the chat fly through the stream.
But this also happens with emotes that don’t exist or at least don’t come from Twitch e.g. ja, wie, funny, 3, grau

You have probably those emotes added in 7tv. But its good point to be able to enable/disable emote services
